AGRICULTURAL PRACTITIONERS SHARED THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN THE FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, UDAYANA UNIVERSITY General

In order to realise the cooperation agreement between the Master of Agroecotechnology Study Program of FP Unud with the Department of Agriculture and Food of Jembrana Regency and the Department of Agriculture of Tabanan Regency, the Study Program invited two practitioners from the two offices to share knowledge at the Faculty of Agriculture Unud.

The event was held through a hybrid seminar on 8 December 2023 by inviting Mr. I Ketut Sulandra, SP. from the Tabanan Regency Agriculture Office with the topic "Prevention of Pests on Plants using Liquid Smoke", while the second practitioner was Mr. I Dewa Nyoman Darmayasa, SP, MP. from the Jembrana Regency Agriculture and Food Service with the topic "Making Solid Organic Fertilizer with Organic SNI standards". Both speakers in this event are Field Agricultural Extension Officers who are also practitioners in their respective fields. 

The event was attended by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Agriculture, both S1, S2 and S3. They were very enthusiastic about the event and were very interested in the material provided so that interactive discussions between participants and speakers took place very well. In his remarks, the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr Putu Sudiartan, who represented the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, highly appreciated this activity because it could integrate the theory obtained by students on campus with real practices from practitioners in the field.
